Separate buildings for DVC members?

New kid here. We just bought DVC and haven't tried to stay on points yet. I was just wondering if SSR, OKW, and BC put the DVC members in a separate building from non-DVC owners? If that's the case which buildings would we be in?

BCV & BWV--yes. OKW and SSR are DVC resorts and have multiple buildings, so no to those.

Non-DVC members staying at OKW and SSR are getting the same accommodations, while regular guests of BC or BW do not necessarily book the villas, while DVC members do.

Just wanted to add that the villas can be studios, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom (except for BCV), so the room set up is totally different from standard WDW hotels. The villa portion of BC and BW are actually seperate buildings but accessed through the same front desk area.

OKW is a community unto itself with 54 smaller buildings plus the main hospitality area. SSR is also a community with many huge apartment complex style buildings and a seperate hospitality area.

And when non-members book villas, they're assigned rooms wherever rooms are available - there's no segregation of members and non-members.

Thanks for the info. We are just so excited about staying DVC but it will probably be next year before we get to go again. I'm going to try to find a forum with pix of BCV and BWV rooms.

Go to All ears. They have lots of pictures of villas. Did you not get the picture book yet with your membership? There are lots of pictures in there too.
