Hi

The current Virgin sale has flights at c£430 for the Septmeber 07 from Manchester. Does anyone know if thats a good price or shall I hold out? How much do Virgin normally go down to for September dates?

Hi

I think this is a good price as we booked money plus miles fares last year for Sept 07 at £340.00 each!!!

Good Luck with your planning.

Hi,
Just done a search on airline-network site and Virgin flights are coming up at £423 adults £362 children, for Sept from Manchester!
We got Virgin flights for July for £600 through Opodo (normally £800+), and in my experience, if you see a good price, book it.. as it won't be there long!

We paid 299 each for our flights in April/May. We booked them a couple of months ago so I would maybe hold out a bit longer because you would thinks that September will be a little slower for them with the kids back at school. It is very difficult to judge! I looked and searched on and off for 6 months before actually booking!!

All the best.

Cath :)

Hi KemlynBovrilDrinker :wave2:

Welcome to the DIS and and the UK Trip Planning forums :welcome:

Those prices seem ok to me :) I have seen them cheaper during sales etc but I have also seen them a lot more expensive :scared1: Ultimately it's about weighing up whether you can risk paying more against the possibility of saving a bit. Personally I feel more comfortable knowing I have the seats at a price I can definitely afford and budget for :teeth:

Are you set on Virgin??
I baught tickets from Thomson in Aug for Aug - Sep (3 weeks) and cost me £149 each
I think you can get a real last minute bargain for Sep myself!!!

Minnie - That sounds like a real bargain but have booked my room and cruise so I might go ahead and book now just to make sure.

Alan - Thanks for the welcome - much appreciated!!! It seems that it all comes down to whether I want to take a risk or play it safe.

I guess now that I've bought into DVC I've got 47 years of Disney planning to get good at knowing when I've got a great flight deal!!!! :yay:
