Sep. 7, 2015 on the Dream

Keep in mind that it is Memorial Day weekend. I imagine the crowds would be condsiderably higher than other September weekends.

One of my favorite times to go to WDW was/is during Columbus Day week or the first week of December. I love the Osborne lights and all the resorts decorated but its hard to do something like that around Christmas time when u have small children because of the expense of both vacation and Christmas.

So I was finally able to get a reservation at Ohana for breakfast.....has anyone done the character breakfast there? Was it good? Last time we went to Disney we ate at the castle breakfast with the princesses for my daughter. This time I wanted something geared toward my son

We have never eaten there but we are on this trip :) Everything I've read and heard from friends is that the food is some of the best for a character breakfast. I like the fact that it is served family style b/c I don't really care for buffets.

Is there a... Och Family in this group? Just checking since they are signed up for the other FE Group and the other Mixology group, however they are not showing as members and was trying to figure out if they are still sailing?

:joker:Trying to build up my tolerance. Anyone with me? Mixer is OJ. Thoughts of sick people in the office so it's medicinal. What I need to be building up is my 5k endurance. Maybe I'll work on that next week :-)

Breakfast at Ohana was fun. We had 2 families which included two 3 year olds and 2 one year olds. All the kids had fun and the adults enjoyed the food. We waited at least 30-45 minutes for our table (we had reservation) it was chaotic there. Try to use the restroom before sitting down at your table. My friend took her daughter to the restroom and missed lilo! They was rushing the characters to every table as fast as they can because there were so much people in there. Have fun! Your lil man will love it.

Never done it, but I hear wonderful things about it. I like that you get Lilo and Stitch for a little variety :)

Actually according to Josh's crowd calendar on easyWDW the last weekend of September is thought to have the highest crowds. Most likely due to the start of Food and Wine Festival. 9/5 is a level 5 day, 9/6 is level 4, 9/7 is level 3, 9/11 is level 3, 9/12 is level 4, and 9/13 is level 3. Not bad. I think most people don't want to pull the kids out right after school has started (for those that start in August), and many others start just after the holiday.

In other thoughts, how's the foot doing Cindy??? Hope all is doing well!! I really don't know if I'm going to be able to do the 5K. I am so scared that I'm going to be hurting afterwards. We have 3 park days after the cruise, so that would not be good :(

We were there once during Food and Wine. It was definitely a bit more crowded, particularly at Epcot.

My foot is slowly improving, but still hurts so I haven't run in like 3 weeks. I am all but out of the running for the 5K. Big huge bummer. But just like you, I don't want to risk it hurting afterwards. We have 2 park days after the cruise, and I just don't want to be hobbling.

We love our experience there. It was good food and the character interaction was good. If you are not staying at a place on the Monorail and plan to go to MK that day use the Monorail to get you MK.

I have a question for all of the park experts :) It looks like I may be back in Orlando pretty much right after we return from the cruise for a training course for work. I have a coworker with a 5 month old and a two year old and he is tossing around the idea of having his family accompany him on the trip. We will be at a hotel with transportation to the parks. His wife is worried about having a baby and a toddler in the park without any help. I believe there are designated areas where she can feed the baby and have the toddler play while doing so correct? Do y'all think she should give this a whirl? Would it be worth it? Are there really any activities she can do with her toddler and baby alone?

Suggestions please for transportation from MCO to Animal Kingdom other than Magical Express. I normally rent a car and don't like waiting for buses to fill. Kinda in a hurry. Thanks.

You would have to rent a car or get a car service. Those are the only options that I can think of. We are using Happy Limo to the port. I personally love Magical Express

Hi my name is Monica and I am a procrastinator!!! I haven't started nada, zip, ZILCH!! I'm on full on stress mode at the moment realizing the cruise is just 5 weeks away! You guys who have everything all organized and done I ENVY YOU!!

I am using private transportation to the port from Animal kingdom. Do you have long bus ride to hotel on Magical express? Does it go to all the different hotels?

Look into Uber. I've never used them in Orlando but I have in DC and Atlanta and love the service.

If it makes you feel any better. I just realized that I haven't sent out the invitations for my daughter's birthday party and it is next weekend! Luckily, most of the party goers were invited through "insert social media name here" at the beginning of the month, but there are a few that are not on that site. :scared1: Do you think a week notice is enough? :sad2:
