Sep. 7, 2015 on the Dream

I was on the munchkin when the groups were first named. I do see my name on the masters list now and the achiever? I only want to be in one group. Am I reading the lists wrong? I'm sorry. I haven't been able to be on the forum because of a serious family matter.
I understand now the achiever list. But I was initially on the munchkins-will just need to shop again and save gifts for a next time.

The lists originally put out were only preliminary lists to see how well they could be split, while keeping to as many people's requests as possible. When time came to finalize, there were too many on the munchkins list and too few on the masters. You were one of the last 2 families to join.....both of which were moved to the masters to keep it even.
The Overacheivers list is not a separate list. There are 3 families doing all 3 lists, as well as some that wanted a master list of all staterooms so that they can do some pixie dusting. That list is for us to look at so it is less confusing. You are only responsible for the families on the Masters list.
I hope your family matter has resolved positively, and big hugs to you if it hasn't.. Welcome back.......and I have updated your stateroom number on the list.

I am sorry if you did shopping ahead of time. I stated SEVERAL times not to get started until the list was finalized because there would be changes. The preliminary lists were only put out for review so people could give me their request and suggestions on how they would like it to be split. Unfortunately, it has been finalized for a couple weeks now and everyone has shopped for their groups (and in some cases have finished their gifts), so changes can't be made. I am very sorry.:confused3

I figured that out about the overachievers and I understand about the list moving. I was just really confused and I am VERY GRATEFUL for all your hardwork you have done to make this possible. Thanks for the kind words.

I love that we have so much medical expertise on our ship! I'm going to have your room numbers handy just in case :crutches:

I'm in crop chemical sales and George is in commercial HVAC. George works 4 10's (Sunday - Wednesday) and then plays golf on Thursdays and Fridays. I only say that because I'm insanely jealous of free time. Fortunately I don't work 70 plus hour weeks anymore. I did that pre kid. It's exhausting!

Public service announcement - I tried Crown Apple this weekend. Holy moly knock your socks off! Mixed it with Sprite. Husband thinks it takes like a jolly rancher...I think it is more of AAHH in a cup! A must try!

Dang!!! All these rave reviews for Crown Apple. I may have to bite the bullet and buy some. At least I know have people to share with on the ship if I don't like it!!

I am totally hoping for the SAHM posistion within the next year or two. Soooo jealous of you!! :D
It was funny how it happened. I was working in assembly when I was pregnant with our first. We figured I would go back to work, but then I was laid off a month before I had her. So I started doing artwork to fill the financial void and we decided I made enough with that for me to stay at home. Then we had two more babies within three years. Now I would have to work crazy hours to make it worth it after child care costs! lol.

What kind of artwork do you do? I'm a graphic designer. I work from home- a lot of hours but I make my hours so it is nice. If the kids want to go to the pool or the mall, I can stop and take them. It's great!

You have the hardest job ever! I stayed at home until Caleb was in kindergarten and Carly was in pre-K. Up until then I took one class at a time either online or in the evenings. Then when they went to school I had all me basic classes done and went to nursing school full time. It was quite a change, but sooooo nice to be able to talk to adults. I actually think I became a better mom after I started being away from them.

Wow! all the medical people. I guess if someone hurts themselves during our mixology classes we will be good :cool1:
3 nurses (Jason, Sandy, and me)
Interpretor/nursing student
firefighter
paramedic
ultrasound tech
And then we have Melissa the 911 call center supervisor to direct us all :)

Joe I forget, what do you do? I know it was something outside and I thought, oh, Terry would love to do that. He rolls his eyes at my Disney talk too, but I think he is starting to get excited for this trip. I told him he would have a buddy in you. I will warn you he cracks jokes ALL the time and does not have a serious bone in his body. This can actually become annoying, but I've been dealing with it for 15 years :)

I started out doing charcoal portraits which is something I had been doing off and on since high school.

Then I began painting wall art for kids' rooms.

I have just been working locally here lately. When all three girls are in school full time. I plan to launch my own website for the letter paintings.

OMG!!!! Let me know when you start up your website!!! I will be one of your biggest customers :D

My mom tried to get me into graphic design when I graduated high school, but at the time I wasn't interested in working with computers. Now I do artwork related stuff on the computer all of the time and I realized that I may have been a little too stubborn for my own good back then! :confused3

Whoa! You've got some serious talent, girl!

Child care is crazy. Ashley just started to be a SAHM a month or two ago because of this reason. Now I just pick up a few overtimes a month to make up the difference, and we are both happier; her not being stressed from an irrational boss and me with clean house and supper on the table! :) It was a win, win for both of us!

Joe- can we talk about the drink classes? I'm thinking my lightweight (not really in the literal sense of the word) hubby and I can't handle two classes back to back. Would it mess up your minimum numbers if we dropped out of the wine and chocolate? I REALLY want to do mixology, but I think we will be in bad shape- and not in a good way- if we try to to both back to back. Jason had a couple of drinks last night, and was puking in the middle of the night and this morning. He had a migraine and thought that was the cause of the puking. I remembered he had a couple of crown and 7up's last night, but he wasn't drunk, but seemed hungover this morning. Sooo, I am so afraid of ruining the end of the cruise with alcohol related sickness. I myself can't handle more than a couple drinks either. We don't drink much so I think that's why we can't handle it.

Sorry to be a party pooper! I still think mixology will be a blast, then we can walk off with our dignity intact:rolleyes::scared::crazy2:
