One bright note in a week we'll be down to the 3 month + until our cruise.

Exactly 4 months from today we will be starting our drive to Disney!!! *Squeal*

I finally convinced my husband that we should take my parents' RV and we will camp along the way. I just made reservations at the campgrounds that we will be staying at. I'm kind of looking forward to the night before we cruise. We'll be at Jetty Park right at the port. I'm hoping that we can get some beach time in that evening!

That sounds like a lot of fun! How many total hours is your drive?

16! We are going to split it in half. I would have loved to fly down but it was too expensive. At least this way, we will get some camping time in too!

Have any of you cruised on the Wonder? I was looking at the Panama Canal cruises. I know it is older and smaller than the Dream, so I worry about being on it for 14 days.......is the Dream/Fantasy going to spoil us for the other ships?

I would LOOOVE to be on a DCL ship for 14 days! But, that will have to wait until the kids are out of the house. We can't afford to do that with all 5 of us. The Panama Canal cruises always seem to fall during school. I can take my kids out for 4 days, but not 2 weeks!

Ours is 16 hours, too. We are loading up in the evening and driving straight through, though.

My parents vetoed the driving for 16 hours straight, which is what my hubby wanted to do. I'm okay with splitting up the trip.

I just made my six year old really excited because she is tall enough to ride the Aquaduck!
