Has anyone done a Dolphin encounter before? Oh just a heads up if you don't already know this but if you are planning on going to Atlantis water park while we stop in Nassau. The tickets on the ship run around $178 for adults and $125 for kids. What I have found is it may be cheaper to just book a room at Atlantis or across the street at Comfort Suites. They both include the water park tickets in their room rate. I think I seen a room for $445 for 4 people. Which would save you over $250. Its like renting the room. Hope that helps.

We are doing the Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounter because of the beach day that goes along with it. I've read nothing but positive reviews of Blue Lagoon, and they have inflatable slides in the water. It looks really amazing.

Its a hard decision because the kids want to go to Atlantis Waterpark we'll see.
The Atlantis Waterpark is very nice. I have been to it 3 times on a cruise. I am not sure if we will do it this time or not....just need to wait and see. We might like to explore the ship when everyone leaves. :flower1:

This is what we plan to do! Since it's our first cruise we want to take full advantage of the ship. We do plan to get off to look at the straw market, but then get back onboard. I've heard days at port are some of the best time to explore the ships! Also I'm somewhat of a tight wad :)

Will Mollie be signing on under her own username, or should I just add a second stateroom under yours?
#7648 is her stateroom.
I highly doubt she will sign up on the DIS board, I told her I would take of it.
I'll probably end up doing all her FE gifts too but I love this stuff!
Amy

Our state room is #7542
Will we ve dividing our group for the FEs? Will we be assigned an specific day to deliver?
I'm just too excited and want to get planning! ;)

We are doing Atlantis because my daughter is dying to go. We were originally going to do the Trainer for a Day there, but decided against it because my son is too young and we wouldn't get to see him and my husband the whole day. With it being our first "not revolving around a sporting event" vacation, I would like to see all of them while we are there. :earseek:

We are not doing anything overly specific for the entire cruise! lol. It's such a short trip that I didn't want to be bogged down by over planning the thing. And we are pretty limited by the age of my girls on what we could sign up for anyway. So in Nassau we are planning on going to the Pirate Museum, the Tortuga Rum Shop, and the Straw Market. We're planning on getting back on the ship fairly early. And at Castaway I'm just hoping for some relaxing beach time!

My mom and I over planned a trip to Hawaii once. It was a nice trip, but it felt hectic. I later went back to Hawaii on my honeymoon and we only preplanned one excursion for the whole trip. It was so relaxing and nice to just casually go places. I enjoyed that trip so much more. Or at least, I felt like I was able to take it in more.

For those of you asking about the Blue Lagoon Dolphin encounter, we did this one a few years ago, booked it directly through them not through the cruise and it was an AMAZING experience at that time it was only my 5 year old daughter at the time and hubby. I've been to Atlantis before in a all girls trip vacation before so my family wants to go see it, so we may do that this year but in all honesty I really loved Blue Lagoon and wish we were going there instead this time!

So my oldest daughter is turning 8 next month and we are doing a FROZEN OLAF SUMMER THEME and I squeezed in a FROZEN DRINKS BAR which I totally got the idea from Castaway cay hee hee hee! Im slowly sneaking in some cruise excitement every chance I get...and again she has no clue we booked =)

My oldest turned 6 at the beginning of the month and she had a Frozen themed party. I wanted to do some special food and drink things for the party, but the weather was so miserable that we only had immediate family and some close friends. Oh well! A Frozen drinks bar sounds awesome! I bet she has a great time!

Man, I can't believe no new post over the weekend must be Spring time??? I hope everyone is doing good!!!

We are always running to sports and kids activities on the weekends. This week is Spring Break for us and we have some stuff planned so I might not be around much this week either.

Does anyone else on here follow DISboards on facebook? They posted the worst Disney dining experiences today, and Chef Mickey's and Hollywood and Vine had LOTS of negative reviews. Anybody experience this on past visits? I have ADRs to both and am thinking about changing.....it has me really scared! :scared1::confused3
