Please add us the the FE list! Jason, Cindy, Grant (15), Logan (12), Kelsey (11)

Thanks!

Ashley and I share the same ideas in early planning it seems! I don't want to miss out on anything, so I start early. I also want the process to fun, and stressing about getting things done last minute is not fun to me. We are doing 5 days at the parks before the cruise and I already have our restaurant itinerary set. My calendar is filled with what days to call and make reservations, LOL! I also have a Pinterest board FULL of every FE thing I can find. I am so READY!!:yay:

We also started getting things. I think we're going to do our door's in Halloween stuff. We got spiders, spider web's, Halloween banners, door magnets and etc... 3 of us went the day after Halloween and snagged some pirate costumes with tons of accessories for them. So now I hope it is a Halloween cruise. One store had a box full of Disney stuff like glow necklaces, bracelets, wands, swords and lots more so we bought it. I think were going to need 2 suite cases. pirate: We're flying in on Friday the 4th. As of right now staying at Old Key West. I'm going to try to get into the Beach Club next month. Can't wait :woohoo:

I forgot we are definitely eating at T-Rex. We love that place and would recommend it to any family. The kids love it :thumbsup2 Just like any Disney dinning reservation you have to make it 6 months out.

Thanks so much for adding us! I am thinking about what I should get. Not very crafty, but I've been looking thru past threads to get ideas. This is a xmas gift to my parents and I know they will have a great time. We will be flying down a few days early. I am DVC so have a few weeks before my 7 month window opens. Hoping to get Animal Kingdom or the Boardwalk.

Hi everyone! My husband and I just booked this cruise with our son that will be four when we sail. My husband and I have cruised before but this will be our first with Disney. This will be the first cruise and international trip for our son-we can't wait to start putting some miles on his passport!

Anyway, I'm curious about the fish extender but obviously we are new to this and we will also be flying. Any idea how large the groups will be? I think we would like to participate if the groups aren't too large since we will have limited luggage space :)

:welcome::cool1: Your son is at a good age to go on his first cruise! Amber with the Redwine Family is organizing the fish extender group so send her a quote with your names and age of your son for the group. I'm pretty sure we are going to keep the groups manageable in size. Since a lot of us is flying. Can't wait to meet you. party:

Thanks joannjoe! I will send Redwine Family a message. We're planning a few days at the parks as well so I have my work cut out for me to get ready for this trip. That will be another first for our family as both my husband and I haven't been back to Disney since we were teenagers!

Hmm...looks like I need a few more posts to be able to PM. I'll have to work on that!

Go to the DIS Technical Support/Test Board and you can quickly and easily make several one word (or 1 letter) posts to get your count up to 10. You can then use the PM system.

Enjoy! :)

Welcome to the board!! Just give me the names of everyone on your party along with the age of your son, and I will get you added to the FE list. We have decided to drive down, but I know several people are flying. The plan is to split the list into manageable sizes when we get a little closer to date. :)

We are doing the parks as well!! It is going to be an amazing (and exhausting!) trip!:drinking:

Are you going before, or after the cruise?

Yay!! I have been waiting on your names! :goodvibes
Glad you are joining the FE!! There has been another family join that is interested in being added to the list, and I am just waiting for the names. I will update the list this evening to give them time to post their info so I will only have to update once. Either way, I will get you added on today!!:surfweb:

Are you going before, or after the cruise?

We're planning to go before. What about y'all? We figured we were going full on Disney for this trip so we're doing it all! It's funny though-my son is so excited about the cruise. He keeps talking about going on the 'Mickey Mouse boat' but he doesn't seem to be interested in the parks at all! I'm sure he'll love it once we're there though :)

For the fish extender we're: Frank, Val, and Frank (4)

Thank you for setting this up!

So for those of you going to the parks before the cruise- I was thinking the parks would be super crowded because it's Labor Day weekend so we were planning to fly in Sunday and then stay for the weekend after the cruise- just hoping to avoid the holiday weekend crowds. We are not planning to do any "parks" this trip- just a day at Typhoon Lagoon (LOVE that place!) and probably go to Downtown Disney the day we get off the ship.

What are y'all's thoughts on how busy everything will be that weekend before our cruise? I am not a fan of wading through huge crowds and waiting in line forever.:headache:

We are going to the parks before, also. We will be arriving on the 2nd, then doing the parks from the 3rd through 6th. We are driving from North Texas so I figured we would need a day to chill before hitting all the excitement. We had the same view about doing it all.....go big, or go home, LOL!! Have you booked the park portion yet? We are waiting until March-May for the free dining plan to be offered. popcorn::

My son is super excited about the cruise, too. Must be because they can see the boat in pictures and understand it better. He gets so excited when the commercials come on Disney jr. ! pirate:
