I'm probably in the minority, but I think early September is just too early to be in the Halloween mood. I was hoping it would start on later sale dates. No big deal, but I'm a tad disappointed. I would have cruised in October if I wanted a Halloween themed cruise.

I'm kind of inbetween. I think the beginning of September is early to celebrate Halloween and part of me was hoping for a regular, unthemed cruise. Then part of me was hoping for a Halloween cruise because my youngest girl LOVES Nightmare Before Christmas. Which poses a whole other problem because she is three and the one Jack appearance I saw was at midnight. I will say that when we booked I never thought September 7th would be Halloween. Oh well! We will have fun either way!

We are also surprising the kids, their Auntie is flying in the day before we leave and she is going to hand them presents - their magic bands with a "ticket" to Disney World and the Cruise. They are going to FLIP OUT!

Prayers for your FIL and family!!

I'm super excited as well!! Its a surprise for my daughters (8) and (2) and nephew (11), we decided that the day of since its Labor Day we would make them think we are driving to the beach and then once we get there we will just let them know that YES we are going to go on a beach but FIRST we need to get on the ship hahaha

I am totally excited this is going to be a Halloween cruise I had no idea they would celebrate so early, but we've done this same exact cruise in May 2012 so I'm happy it will be slightly different PLUS my family LOVES HALLOWEEN!!

On another NOTE just found out that my oldest daughter's national dance competition will be held at the Dolphin Disney Resort in July EEEEKKK!!! So another dose of Disney to help me while we wait for September to roll around!! Between her Frozen birthday party, dance recitals, dance competition...oh yearh and that thing called WORK (that helps pay for all this)!! This momma must find time to plan and craft for the FE exchange!!

I am to the obsessed point with Disney/cruise. Every thought is about FE's, what to pack, etc. I was up until 2am the other night shopping on Aliexpress. Now I have the agonizing what for things to ship from China.

I'm so sorry to hear about you FIL. I lost my Dad to Cancer a day before Fathers Day in 2012. My finger and toes are crossed for you! I'm pretty sure our group will be split if that helps ease your mind. Are you going to Disney before the cruise?
