Looking for something that is sentimental in nature, but not jewelry, since we did this for her 16th and she isn't much of a jewelry person.

I still have little kids, but I already know that my HS graduation gift for them is going to be a book of all their artwork. I plan on scanning it and making a photo book.

how about a scrapbook? You can do one easily online at shutterfly.com and they always have coupon codes.

recipe book? Get some favorites from different family members and put them in a nice book for her to keep.

book of letters? Have your family sit down and everyone write her a letter. Share funny stories, memories, etc.

I know you said no jewelry but pandora bracelets or journey jewelry always make great gifts

For my dd16 b-day I wrote her a poem..may sound kinda of corny but it was about my love for her, her being my first born, the future and how I will always be there for her, etc. I had it framed in a beautiful silver frame and she keeps it on her dresser. She actaully cried when I gave it to her as well as I did when I wrote it.
