Congrats to Chelsea on the honors program!

Hi, everyone! I promise to be back soon to do replies and maybe even an update (I have the pictures almost ready for it). Soccer is taking such a huge chunk of time right now, and then this weekend is crammed full of stuff. My SIL turned forty yesterday, so we went to a surprise party for her straight from the soccer game. Today is my MIL's birthday with more celebrating in store. On top of all of that, I am wrestling with trying to decide if it is time to go back for my specialist's degree. Whew! Is it time to head to Disney World yet?![]()
YES, you have a lot going on!!!! But it all sounds fun!
Looking forward to an update when you can!
Specialist's degree, what is that?
It's the six-year education degree in between the master's and a PhD (which I think is what I really want, but I would want it from Emory which is very expensive). Georgia passed a new law that says unless you are in a degree-seeking program by July of this year, you will no longer be paid for your advanced degrees in teaching. So, it is kind of a now or never feeling for me.
ACK! Wait, so you have a Master's and are looking at getting a PhD, but this is a 6 year program? Girly, go for the PhD... Emory = $ I know that... but if you are making the committment the place is important... would it be close? Fill me in when you can, I know you are busy!!!![]()
