We are sailing on the Fantasy this October, and I'm hoping to try some spa treatments this time. I have previously done the Rainforest room on the Magic, how does Fantasy compare?
I want to possibly book a pedicure on embarkation day. They have a time of 5:30 pm available for a fire & ice pedicure. Is that a good one and a good time to do it? Or is next morning better?
I didn't see a regular pedi listed, but I'm assuming they have them too. I just don't want to miss out on being able to get in the first afternoon. I remember last time all spots were taken for the first couple of days.
Any spa recommendations are appreciated.

The Rainforest on Fantasy and Dream have 2 small whirlpool tubs, 3 steam/saunas, various rain showers and heated ceramic loungers. I have not sailed on Magic, so I don't know if that is the same or not. But it is what they have. :)

As for the mani/pedi...I would book the one that is available on embarkation day since as you noted it can be hard to get treatments later in the cruise. Especially on sea days.

The rainforest room on the Fantasy is far nicer than the one on the Magic! It has whirlpools with a view of the ocean and the tile loungers overlook the sea as well. It is just wonderful!

As to the pedicure: the fire and ice part is that they give you brief hot stone treatment and then add some cooling gel. I had a manicure and the treatment was done on my hands and forearms. I would not pay the up charge again. They did quote me prices for just a basic manicure as well, so that is an option. I thought the up charge for the fire and ice was about 20 or 30 $ more.

I needed a manicure with shellac removal, so did not book beforehand, but went to the spa early on embarkation day and had quite a lot of days to chose from. I did not want to get in on the first few days though.

Usually they have a special on the first day that you get 10% off or so on treatments that you book and receive on that first day, so I would think they are not that booked.

Will definitely be purchasing the rainforest pass then...sounds so nice.
I don't know what to do about the pedicure as I really want one the first afternoon or next morning. They only show the fire& ice option ahead of time and there is only the one time left on embarkation day - 5:30 pm and only 7:30 pm on the second day! I can take a chance and cancel the appt and just walk in there first day.
I wonder if I could change to a regular pedicure once there... Probably not ;)
The fire & ice does sound nice but not sure if worth $30 just for some hot stones and cooling gel.
