Senseo Coffee Maker - Anyone have it?

Keep seeing the ad for Senseo and it's really peaked my curiosity. The coffee in the ad looks so good - but you know how deceiving they can be.

Anyone have this? What do you think?

I would like to know too. Those are the Coffee makers that use the individual pods, right?

We have one, and while the coffee is good, the pods are pretty expensive (at least to me.........I am a cheapskate. )-----usually about $3.49 or so for 18 pods......and you need 2 for a mug of coffee, unless you don't drink a lot of coffee, and can get by with a 4 oz. "cup". The coffee tastes good, though.

Since my DH is the only coffee drinker in the house we bought one. He absolutely loves it, but he does drink only one cup a day.

I have the Melita 1:1. I really like it. But I'm a one cup a day person. I usually make a 13 oz cup with one pod (make and 8 then a 5). I agree with msdznyduck, the pods are kind of expensive.

I have this Melitta model:

It uses #2 filters, and regular coffee (I grind my own beans). I get 2 perfect cups to go. I drink one in the car on the way to work, and one when I get to my desk. It's perfect for us, because DH does not drink coffee at all.

I looked at some of the 'Pod' styles, but the pods seemed a bit on the expensive side.

I really would like to get a pod coffeemaker of some sort because now that DH works out of town so much, I'm the only coffee drinker. Maybe I'll bite the bullet and order this Senseo and see how it goes. It will be my Christmas present to me.

We have it. DH is the only coffee drinker, but I actually had my first cup recently and if I could get used to the bitterness, this machine makes a great cup of coffee.
