We went w/ my folks a couple of years ago and had a great trip. My parents were in their early 70s at the time. A couple of thoughts. Be flexible -- if a break is needed take one. After an afternoon break/nap everyone seemed to be re-energized for the evening. Also, I wouldn't plan sit down breakfast, lunch and dinners. Seemed to be too much food.
Some suggestions:
1) Do a Character meal --maybe 'Ohana - we have some great pics of my Mom and Dad smiling ear to ear w/ Mickey, Chip and Dale at breakfast. (and a there's a great view of MK across the lake)
2) Cirque du Soliel -- Is a great show. Not only the visual spectical, but my Dad (an ex-football coach) still talks about how athletic the performers are.
Enjoy
