senior trip dining? ohana vs. kona, other suggestions?

my senior trip is june 1-5 and my 18th birthday is also june 1! i originally wanted to eat at planet hollywood on my birthday and then go to rainforest cafe on june 2nd or 3rd.. but i just called and neither of those places take reservations.

i was pretty bummed but i was looking around online and saw ohana, i thought it would be perfect to go there to eat with all of my friends on my birthday then go see fireworks after.. then my friend who is obsessed with disney mentioned kona cafe, and said it was better than ohana. where would you recommend?

also, does anyone know how many people i can make ADR for without having to use a credit card to hold it? i think i want between 8 and 12 people and i'm willing to split up into 2 or more tables.

also.. if neither of those, can anyone recommend some good restaurants in epcot or magic kingdom for 18 yr olds to eat at? thanks so much !

I've been to both Kona and Ohana and loved them both. I enjoyed the food more at Kona, but the atmosphere at Ohana blows Kona out of this world. Ohana is very interactive and fun, and the view is great. Our waitress at Kona was MIA most of the night.

We have been to both Ohana's and Kona Cafe. They are both pretty good but we prefer Kona Cafe. Since you want to see fireworks after your dinner these both will because obviously in the Poly! You will time your ADRS on perfect time. Kona Cafe's food is just GREAT! We just love it. Also there are fun desserts so dont forget to get one. Now about Ohana's food YUCKY! I mean if you are looking for fun Ohana's, however food Kona Cafe. Hope we helped you!
