hi there. we are bringing my mother along on our cruise. does anyone know if a "senior" rate is offered as she will be the third adult in our stateroom.
The third/fourth party in any cabin gets a disounted rate, whatever their age. However, unfortunately Disney does not offer Sr. rates like other cruise lines. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.
That information is exactly right. Disney Cruise Line charges the same rate for the 1st and 2nd guest, regardless of their age. There is a rate for the 3rd, 4th and 5th guest is less expensive and is applied for any guest of any age. Now, if we could just convince Disney to do more standard staterooms for 5 guests.
Although there is no senior rate - they do seem to have the most fun on the ship! Take it from the daughter of a 75 year old woman - she was tucking me in and partying with her grandson (7)!!
thanks for the replies. the reason i had asked is when i was looking at the southwest cruise reservation site, they ask "how many people in the stateroom are aged 13-60" and "how many are aged 3-12". if a child is under 3 they want you to call them for rates, but they didn't say what to do if you were older than 60...oh well....i just called dcl and booked directly with them. it was only $200 more than had i gone thru southwest. i hope the peace of mind will of getting any questions answered via dcl will be worth the money.
