I plan to take my 11 year old GD to California at the end of July. I plan to spend 3 days at DL, 1 day at Universal and 1 day on a bus tour of LA. My plan is to stay in the DL area and shuttle to Universal and LA. There are so many pros and cons regarding hotels I am getting perplexed in trying to choose one. I am almost 73 years old with limited walking ability, I do use a walker. I know from our previous trips to DW, chances of getting a mobility scooter are small if you don't get there early in the morning so would you recommend renting one off site? If so, do the shuttles accommodate the scooters? We are going to also take a shuttle to San Diego for Sea World and zoo and fly home from there. Pray that I'll have the get up and go to get up and go....

My mother in law rented a jazzy from a place not in disneyland. It was MUCH better quality (and not abused daily). If you were to do this you could stay at a hotel right across the street and jazzy on over. It'd be easier than trying to get it on a bus or whatever. This is what I'd do. I will ask them where they rented it for you :) They said they were SUPER NICE and helpful. This will work for Disneyland, obviously..but not sure what to tell you about Universal and LA. Hmm
