A question kind of for the ladies.....

Friday is the 16th Wedding Anniversary for DW and I. I ordered some roses to be sent. I always send the number of years we've been married - so therefore, this year I am sending 16 roses.

But I wanted to be a little different this year. I sent 4 red, 4 pink, 4 yellow, and 4 peach colored roses. Is that going to look stupid? Should I call back and send just one color?

I can only speak for myself here but I prefer roses in colors OTHER than red. Everyone gets red, not everyone gets peach or yellow or lavender. I'd be thrilled to get the bouquet you described. I suppose it depends on how traditional your DW really is. You remembered the day and made it special for her, I don't think you need to worry. You'll get points for it big guy! :thumbsup2

That bouquet sounds absolutely beautiful :) I'd keep it just the way it is....Happy Anniversary....

I think it sounds beautiful and would love the fact that you took the time to be "different". Have a wonderful anniversary!

Cool! Sounds like I did alright then!! :cool1:

I was calling different florists to find what colors each place had. And it was pretty slim pickins.......most places only had red or yellow.

Thanks all.

What a nice thought to send 16 roses this time vs. the traditional 1 DZ. I think the mixed colors will be beautiful too as others have seen. I think most women love to receive roses (at least I do)

Enjoy your anniversary.
