Sending package to resort - OK to arrive before us?

Sending a package of a few things for us and was wondering if it is OK if it gets there before we do? We check in on a Saturday afternoon, but I was going to ship it Priority to have it arrive on Friday ... just to be "safe", I guess.

Has anyone done this before? Would that be OK?

I've shipped water several times and it has always arrived before we have. The hotel always has it waiting in our room for us.
