Tink - I think a letter would be fine. Since it's not an invitation, you should probably send it out after your wedding so it's more of an announcement than an invitation.
We are planning on sending out wedding announcements when we return home so i may just send that after the fact.....I also thought about making a few fake invitations to send for this particular reason, but that almost seems sneaky or cheesy, even though me and DF would be the only ones to know the difference.
We mailed invitations to Mickey and Minnie as well as the President and received congratulatory notes back from both. The invitations were mailed in early September and the notes were returned while we were away on our wedding/honeymoon trip - so almost 2 months later.
Just wondering what exactly constitutes English ancestry for the letter from the Queen? Just British born? Or is a bit further back in the line ok too?
I had no idea you could sent invitations to all these people! I am so thankful that you all have such great ideas! It's amazing you have so many ways of making the day more special.
