Similar to the President and the Pope, I heard if you mail Mickey & Minnie a wedding invitation that they will send you a congratulatory greeting back. Does anyone know someone who's done this and what the correct address is?

I found the Fan Mail address on Disney.com but not sure if that would be the correct place to mail the wedding invitation.

Thanks in advance!

It's true...and I *had* (and am going to look on my other computer to see if I still have) all the addresses...

You have to give them something like 4-6 weeks lead time, but yes, you can get "congratulatory" letters from Mickey and Minnie too! :flower:

i recently sent my requests.

i saw this info over on the knot & i thought other brides might enjoy. send your name/honorees name, address & phone# and date of event or a wedding invitation, it least 2-3 months in advance for event arrival.

The President & Mrs. Bush
The White House
Greetings Office Room 39

Washington, DC 20502

The Pope His Holiness Pope Benedict VXI

or
The Pope His Holiness Pope Benedict VXI

Same thing if you invite the Queen (or any royal). And her reply has to be hand written by either her or one of her ladies in waiting according to proper etiquette. :)

I'm so glad someone had those addresses!!!

I must have deleted them...

wow! i never knew about this! let us know if/when you get your replies and good luck!

That's just too cute! I had never thought about that. So, has anyone sent one to a President before and actually gotten a response. That would be unique. Do you send a letter along with these, or just the invitation?? I'd love to send one to Mickey and Minnie, especially since they really will be there, LOL. :cheer2:

Several years ago my cousin sent a graduation announcement to the then sitting President. He received a very nice acknowledgement from the White House for his graduation.

Yes, we received our's just before we left. Give them 2-3 months. They are very careful with opening thick, padded envelopes these days. It's a beautiful card and congratulatory note. I am sure they are not hand-signed. Anyone else see Commander in Chief when he used the "writing machine" to forge her signature? That's what I think they used.

We also got a letter from former President Carter. A Carter family member was a guest of ours. The family told us to send the invitation and they'd be sure we get the special treatment. :rotfl: I am sure he was *thrilled* to be writing another one of those letters at the holidays.

I DID invite the President and received a congratulatory card signed by both him and the Mrs:) Very cool! My husband didn't want us to send one to the pope since it wasn't a sacred place we were being married. I didn't know you could send one to Minnie and Mickey!!!

Hi

My wedding is only a month away, if i send it today, do you personally think i will still get reply from Walt Disney Company and US President?

Also does the president still reply back if he receives the invitation from non-US resident?

Thx
Terence

Well obviously my question at the end was meant to be "Will the President send back a letter if he got the invite from non-US groom and bride" ;)

We got our congratulatory photo from the President and First Lady! Hehehe :thumbsup2 !

has anyone had one from M&M???? What was it like?

Our wedding is six months away and we are not having invitations because just immediate family is attending, so we did not want the added cost of invites.

I really would like to do this but since we do not have invitations can we just send a letter or is that tacky? Also how soon is too soon to do this?
