Sending gift to someone staying in a DVC

Question for you all--

I have a friend staying in AKV and I'd like to send a gift card to them. Is there a way I can do this? I'd like them to get it upon arriving (at check in) or within the next day delivered to their room. Can I contact AKV or DVC and have them do this? How?

You could simply mail them a gift card in care of the resort.

Just time the mailing so it arrives on or near their check-in date.
On the outside of the envelop just write "guest check in date of xx/xx/xx"

I called the actual resort and ordered a bottle of wine. At first they tried to sell me the $100 package but I explained that all I wanted was a $20 bottle of wine that expected to pay $40 for waiting in their room on the night of his birthday. It worked out great!
