sending a package to yourself at the resort....

ok...those of you that have done this...how far in advance did you send it?
we will be arriving tuesday around 10:30 a.m.. should I send it tomorrow or thursday? how long will the resort hold it? thanks!

It all depends on where you live. Ask UPS or USPS or whoever you ship it with how long the time in transit is. I would send it a few days ahead of your scheduled arrival in case there are any delays. Just write on the box hold guest.......arriving on the ........

i do this all of the time. like the previous poster said, use UPS or USPS. go to their website and there is a place for you to plan the journey of your box. you just need to estimate the weight and dimensions of the box if you want to know price ahead of time. for the ship date, i always choose the one that will get my box there 1-2 days before me.

I address the package to the resort with "c/o [insert your name], guest checking in [insert your arrival date]"

i have never had a problem and when i get to the room i call down to have bell services bring it up. a great way to save...both money and time for convenience sake.
