Send purchases home?

Not sure if this is the place to ask...
Wondering about separate purchases while in Disney & if the hotel would pack them up & ship home? I know you can have things sent-done that before, but we will be only doing the carry-on stuff-and I know we will buy things from different stores there-just wanted to know if that can be done. Thanks!

Not sure if Disney still does it, but they use to offer a service when you purchased. While you are making your purchase, you can either have the items sent to your resort, the front of the park, or your home. This was a service they provided (you have to pay to get it shipped home) when I worked there in 2001. Not sure if they still do it though. Maybe someone else can clarify.

We bought a bunch of stuff last year on our land sea package. So right before we left for the ship, I went to the AKL shop and asked for a large box. They gave it to me and let me borrow some packing tape. I put everything we bought and went to the front desk where they sent the package for me. Had to pay around $14.00 to mail the box, but you can mail stuff from the hotel.

You can have stuff shipped home right as you buy it but be careful and WATCH how they pack it, I've had a few things end up broken when they finally got to me.

Basically we've had that done w/ certain things-I know I plan to buy things from different places & didn't want to have all these different packages sent home. I also had the mickey head ornaments sent to our hotel-we had names on them & they sent them to the hotel just as planned one of the specifically Christmas oriented ones was broke-after calling the place I bought it-the hotel managed to get one for me-then 2 days after we came home one arrived in the mail...they sent me a new one b/c they broke the 1st one!!!!! In the end they told me to just keep it b/c I had called & was going to send it back....It was a gift for someone, but in the end Disney gave me the gift!
I guess I will just check with the hotel. Thanks everyone!

You can either have every thing shipped as you buy it, or you can purchase everything you want, and on the last day have it shipped from your hotel's business office. We have done that the past two years. The only problem with the last option is that you pay both shipping and sales tax. If you choose to ship as you buy, you dont have to pay sales tax.
