Hi all! Back online after the move, and dh brought up a beautiful card for me from Monica when he was able to join us here at our new house! Thank you Monica. I am glad that we are finally starting to get settled here in our new house - this was a great move for us!

I also got my last card today from Cindy! Hope you have an amazing trip! We have a Disney cruise planned for next summer in August...can't wait, it'll be our first cruise ever!!

We booked DCL for July 27 next year. Enjoy your first cruise, it mst likely won't be your last.

Thank you Jamie for the cards, and goodies. It's weird since BOTH of the envelopes arrived today . I am thinking that one was probably sent via Parcel Post which to us is the slow boat to HI.

Yes things get lost, the slow boat route, ....

The thing is everytime i mail international i ask for air mail and they tell me that is the only way, there is no more boat. But it still takes forever to get there.

The boat rate stopped years ago. It was when Nutsy was still around. We used to send each other boxes a couple times a year. Took 2 months. Then that option stopped and it had to be air. Took about 2 weeks, but was so expensive we only sent very small packages a couple of times.

With in the US, I was told parcel post takes a long time because all those packages are routed to central places and then they wait until they have enough to go on a plane.
So, when I was in WA and wanted to send a parcel package to DD on the other side of the state, it actually went to Nevada or someone else first
So first class or priority was the way to go.

I rec'd a card from Danielle (orca91) today! Thanks very much for the pretty hand made card, and the Pooh cutout. Very cute!

To answer your question, my family did make it to the aquarium....we went yesterday! It's always so neat.
