I want to create a playlist of Disney songs for the car ride; however, I want it to be beyond just the normal songs from Disney movies, shows, etc. I'd like to have songs from the theme parks, rides (Haunted Mansion! Yess!), classical music, everything else, etc.

Do you have a favorite CD like this that you've purchased? Songs you love and would add?

I just want to listen to the Haunted Mansion song on a loop right now. Haha!

When you say Haunted Mansion song, do you mean the organ music that's always playing on the ride?

Try The Circle Sessions (The Music of Carthay Circle).
There are 2 albums and we love them.

I've ripped music from YouTube before and keep it on my phone and iPod. Things like the theme park entrance loops and Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace that are unavailable on CD or for download on Amazon, etc. The first thing we always hear when we get in the car, as we buckle up and the car is started is, "Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor, mantenganse alejado de las puertas." It only gets better from there. :D

There are a bunch of official albums from DLR and WDW. They just released a new one for DLR for the Anniversary as well. "The Legacy Collection Disneyland" it has all the classics like Grim Grinning Ghosts Tokyo Disney also has a ton of CD releases. For parades and shows YouTube is often a good idea, if you can download from there.

The organ music and also the song at the end - Grim Grinning Ghosts. It comes on Pandora all the time (Disney station) and I wish there was a repeat button. LOL.

The 2013 "Walt Disney World Official Album" is a Wonderful 2-CD or iTunes set that has attraction music. Including the full Haunted Mansion! 36 tracks!

This playlist is great:

I have compiled music from the Disneymania and Disney Box Office Hits as well.

There's a lot of Kids Bop type stuff if you want more for the kids that comes from Disney movies but isn't the official soundtrack.

I'm a technological nimrod and have no idea how to do that. The last time I tried ripping music/taking music was when LimeWire and Napster were around. I would however be interested in purchasing a copy of the phinz compilation, hahaha.

Just search for "how to rip music from YouTube". There are several sites that can do it. It's pretty much as follows: paste YouTube URL into a box, click, wait for the site to convert from Flash to mp3, download music. Easy as that. Like I said, I use it for the stuff that I can't get via CD (CDs that aren't bootleg, that is. There are bootlegs available, but I won't buy bootlegs) or paid download.

I've always wondered where people get copies of things like the Innoventions Area music loop, but I'm glad that they've posted them so I can enjoy them too. A lot of times I just launch a YouTube playlist while I'm working and listen to Disney music all day.
