I having being reading through the couple of live trip threads this morning and it made me feel like a slacker not to attempt one - I am making no promises as to how often this will be updated :rotfl2:

We left Manchester on Thursday morning having de-iced the car again to move it from the Hilton to the meet & greet parking. I hadn't been unable to do OLCI so I decided we need to be at the airport early. We are used to LGW and the long queues for check in and this was our MAN. We arrived at just after 7 and the was no one else at any of the desks :rotfl:

After check in headed through and breakfast at Frankie & Bennies with a 20% off coupon from Eat Drink Fly. Really enjoyed it. We explored the shops and let DD bun off some energy.

We left early :thumbsup2 and enjoyed PE in the A330. Nice flight and landed early in a wet Orlando. Straight through immigration as we were the first flight in but had a slight delay on our case as they were having an issue with the belt. Headed off to ME and arrived and checked in to BLT.

Nice surprise on arrival of getting my requests met :cool1: We have a partial MK view :cheer2: After I unpacked we headed off to MK as it had stopped raining. DH & I had to collect our new APs and we needed a new TIW card. Got this sorted and headed in to the park for our traditional first night meal - hot dogs from Caseys :thumbsup2 (this started when Chloe was younger and hot dogs were one of her favourite foods so it was a way to get her to eat when she was tired)

After tea we hit a few rides before headed back to the room. DD went to bed at 9 and we made it till 10.

Sounding good so far x Pleased you landed safely and great news on the room allocation.

Looking forward to hearing about your adventures x

Friday morning we were awake about 5.30 but we had a CM ressie at 7 so that wasn't too bad.

We hadn't eat there for a while as we had been really disappointed the last time we went but this time was great. Character interaction was good and so was the food. They have changed the buffet up a bit and all the food was really good.

After that we headed for Epcot although it was still looking like we might get some more rain  we did TT then headed to exchange DDs AP for an RFID.

Did Soarin and came out and it must have poured while we were in there. After that we headed for Nemo and we had to queue so at that point I decided enough was enough and headed back to BLT.

In the evening we put Chloe in the cubs den and met some friends for a drink. Chloe had a great time and wants to go back again!

Weathers looking good today so we are off to DHS this morning.

We're heading off from Peterborough to our Gatwick hotel this evening, so I'm grateful for the Eat Drink Fly info.:thumbsup2
We arrive at OKW on Saturday, and I can't believe that after all the planning it's finally here!

Great updates

We have only ever done chef mickey's at 7am and always had a fab time - lots of interaction and fresh food. Great idea for first day when you are up early anyway.

Keep up the good work :thumbsup2

I looked for a F&B discount last week and couldn't see one, too late now, glad you found one.

Sounds good! Looking forward to hearing more .

Yesterday we stared the day at DHS. Grabbed Tot FP and headed for TSM which got on with about a 15 minute wait. After that Dd wanted to head to the honey I shrunk the kids playground (this is fine by us we are never in that much of a hurry that she can't stop to play) we then headed back to use our FP. After that DD & DH grabbed a snack and I went to check the single rider line on RnR but it was backed up and the rest of the park was getting really busy so we left.

Chloe wanted some new crocs so we headed for the Florida mall. Picked some for her and I got some too! We the headed back to LbV and had lunch at Olive Garden.

Back to BlT and a quick swim - it made up to 80 which is my minimum for getting in a pool :rotfl2:

The evening was spent at MK where we did the Aerial ride and a couple of other things before heading to the Top of the World for drinks and snack before wishes.

I didn't fancy anything savoury so had this:

It was good but I should not have eaten it all!

Enjoying reading Tracy :). After 18 years of LGW flights I find MAN flights to MCO so much easier - could just be luck though! We were a day after you; got the 747 on Friday but headed up to Savannah the next day. We are touring for the first week or I would have made your DIS meet.

Nice when you get all your requests. I haven't made any for next week at OKW unusually. I'll be hunting for Crocs too when I arrive, but as we brought 2 empty suitcases I may buy a few pairs ;)

Glad you are keeping a live report :)

I appreciate the effort to maintain one so we will let you have the occasion day off ;)

Thanks for reading everyone :goodvibes

Yesterday we started the day with breakfast at Ohana. We really enjoy this breakfast (not impressed by the dinner) it is served family style and is all you can eat. You start with breads - a cinnamon and a pineapple both are yummy. You then get Fruit platter with melon, pineapple, raspberries and a dip. They then bring out he hot food bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, biscuits and Mickey waffles are brought around.

Character interaction was good apart from Pluto who was behind schedule and rushed through.

After breakfasts we headed to MK. Did a few rides then Chloe got her hair cut and we meet the princesses in town square. Then did a few more rides before leaving to go swimming. Never made swimming as Chloe fell asleep on the floor :rotfl:she was messing around playing with her pillow and the next thing she was gone!

We had dinner at the turf club at SSR. We got the bus to DTD and stopped at the design a t store before getting the boat to SSR. Dinner was excellent however our server could have been a recording - he had zero personality! Still think this is a hidden gem in Disney dining.

Today we started the day with breakfast at ihop and then headed to the beach at Longboat key with our friends.

The weather was perfect we had a nice walk and Chloe had a play and before we knew it we had been 3 hours :scared1:

We headed back to the car and headed down the road to Anna Maria Island and a very late lunch at Skinnys place

We are now back waiting to watch Wishes from our room.

Another good day :thumbsup2

Sounds good.:thumbsup2

We were in MK this morning, it got really busy but DTD this evening was quietest I have seen it for years.

We've only eaten at the Turf Club once (last year) and agree it was very good so we've booked it for next week :thumbsup2

My mum snuck off to Turf club while we was at SSR last trip, she said it was one of her favourite meals!!
Loving the trip report:)

Its almost 4 years since we ate there so I am sure the menu will have changed, we were not over impressed with the menu but the service was top notch.

Great trip report - thank you. Reading what you're up to on your holiday is getting me in the mood for ours next month.

Just off to read about Longboat Key. We spent the day at Anna Maria Island for my birthday last year and loved it, so adding another beach to a day trip out that way would be great.
