Selling/Transferred points

Hello! I recently purchased a contract and plan to add on. I'm thinking of all the possibilities and had some questions.

If I transferred points from one contract to another, and decided to sell one, is it possible to close on a contract before the transferred points are actually used? Or can you close as soon as they are transferred?

Once the points are moved out of the membership with the contract being sold, those points no longer impact the sale.

My contract that just sold had points transferred to my other membership and closed without issue.

Stripped 2 contracts and the only thing I will say is that you have to call to use transferred points.

Side note there was an issue where MS had to get IT to look at my account since I sold the contract. Took a little time but I listened to the Disney hold music while waiting for it to be fixed (no biggie).
