Selling stuff for Quest?

I read some stuff here about having to sell stuff to earn credits for a quest. What quest is it?

I think all I have left are the yellow and the green cars. I don't have a prayer of the green Fireworks requirement. I am stuck on the 45 ghosts.

So what on earth am I missing? I have not seen anything where I had to earn credits.

I believe they are referring to selling items so they have enough credit to purchase a Quest Engine for 20K credits. Never mind if they wish to operate it they will need to feed it credit or items for whatever quest they run so it has prizes.

Glad you asked Lisa. I had been wondering the same thing.

There was a bug with the Autopia Quests. The original quest asked you to earn 500 credits. The bug was that no matter how you earned credits (personally I earned them through fireworks, and then pirates), the only way they would register was if you sold items to get 500 credits.

They have since removed that part of the quest, so you no longer have to sell items to earn the credits. (there is also part of the space quest where you need to earn 5 and then 10 credits "on the track" however people have reported that you can just sell something for the same amount and it will work)

Actually, you can sell anything as long as it is above the required amount. It was there I learned that the selling price for Everest tracks is 80 credits.

All i did was sell off some excess narnia items. 10 credits a piece.

Oh thanks! I wished I knew that before I spent time trying to win the off road part. It took me a try or two before I got the hang of not running out of gas.
