Selling scrap gold for $$$$

I checked the Canadian site for this but could not find anything. On the Budget board they are talking about this, but they are US companies that they are using. Does anyone no of a company I could use in Canada or a place in Edmonton? Some people are getting some really good money for their broken and scrap gold. Thanks

well if your in Toronto there is that annoying guy the cash man ( russel oliver ) I think is his name he buys all unwanted gold ... mind you he is very annoying from his t.v commercials grrrr LOL

There's a place in Calgary that advertises that they will use your old gold in custom jewelry, but not sure if they will give you cash instead. You could call them.

Another option, I guess, would be to take it on holiday with you and cash it in then. I'm interested too, as I have some rings and earrings which are gold and I don't wear them anymore.

Ya I hate him ... LOL his commercials annoy me !! He was the only gold person I could think of to sell your gold to haha

You'd be lucky if Mr. Oliver paid out more than $5 for a piece of gold. Okay, maybe a tiny bit more, but still not close to any worth. Honestly, he has a really bad reputation and UNDER pays for pieces.

I'm thinking of sending some goodies with DH on his next business trip. Looks to me like the US is paying far more than we'd ever get in Canada.
