If I purchased 400 points via resale, if I determined I wanted to downsize my points, could I sell 200 of them in two separate contracts of 100 points each? Or can a contract not be broken up this way? Are there restrictions on doing this? Time, number of points or doing it at all?

You can't split a contract if you want to sell off points.

If it is one 400 point contract, then all you can sell is what you own...a 400 point contract. This is why you see people buying direct splitting the contracts so that they can do what you want to do letter, sell off some of what they own.

This is the advantage of buying small contracts. They cost more, but in the end you can divest of them more easily.

You could transfer (sell to another member) 200 point of the 400 points you were allocated this year. But you are deeded an interest equal to 400 points. You can't divide your deed.
