Here's the scoop ... after four years of ownership at VWL, we're selling our points. (We still own at BW, tho.)
We are then turning around and buying a comparative boatload of points at SSR.
As much as I loved VWL, my DW and DD never quite "got it," and preferred BWV and OKW - two different properties, but each with its own charm.
What has tilted us toward SSR is the longer lease, the easy walk to Downtown Disney, and the "non-corridor" feel, which serves as a nice counterpoint to BWV. We like the theming, and feel that SSR is a work in progress, too new to be objectively judged, but suits us well as we most likely alternate between BW and SSR.
I really struggled with looking for a good OKW resale, strictly on a GV basis. In the end, the desire for the GV wasn't enough to convince me.
Potential buyers remorse being what it is, are we nuts? We've got two different resorts because we want the variety the two offer.
Still ... VWL was something special. *sniffle*.
Don't really know what I'm asking ... maybe just some affirmation that we haven't plunged over the deep end.
(I honestly think now we'll have all the points we'll ever need ... but I've said that twice before.)
