Selling baked goods door-to-door to businesses

In Miami my grandfather used to buy fresh fish from trucks. And they sold conks out of catering trucks. Down in the business district, behind the airport, there were the lunch trucks that would pull up to the bay doors to sell to the workers. There were several people selling various foods on the side of the road, just buy it if you got caught at the red light.

Here in Cali, taco trucks are pretty much the only place people go to. And at the flea market, there's people selling just about everything. Then there's people selling tamales and ear of corn out of their car or on a cart.

I buy Farmers Market food all the time and its made in someones kitchen! Years ago there use to be an Amish lady who would make wonderful baked goods and her husband would travel around to different businesses in town and sell them. People would look forward to seeing him!

My DH works in food delivery and has seen hundreds of restaurant kitchens in his career. He knows what restaurants are "safe" to eat from and which ones to stay far away from. Some of the things he's seen are absolutly shocking! :scared1:
