In Miami my grandfather used to buy fresh fish from trucks. And they sold conks out of catering trucks. Down in the business district, behind the airport, there were the lunch trucks that would pull up to the bay doors to sell to the workers. There were several people selling various foods on the side of the road, just buy it if you got caught at the red light.
Here in Cali, taco trucks are pretty much the only place people go to. And at the flea market, there's people selling just about everything. Then there's people selling tamales and ear of corn out of their car or on a cart.
