Selling a small diamond

Do not try Craig'list. Someone here on our area. She posted a diamond ring for sale and when someone came to look They robbed the family and the husband ended up dying[shot]. Just be very careful. i would use a jewelry store or pawn shop. This is occurring more and more.

I think you'd probably get more for the gold than the diamond...that is if you have a diamond ring.

I included an old diamond ring with a noticeable inclusion (about .25 carat) in a package I sent to US Gold buyers. They paid over half of the original cost. Nice thing about using them is that they will send back to you if you don't like their offer.

You need to know what your buying when you buy a diamond. you also need to remember with debeers holding onto so many stones diamonds aren't worth anything. So if your diamond isn't d-f in color near flawless no visible inclusion with 10x loop over .45 ct don't expect to be able to sell it easy. If your stone falls into the above range you'll be able to sell it but not for anywhere near what you payed for it. I often tell people if you can't afford an amazing diamond buy a better quality of another gemstone because it may be worth more later then what your diamond will be worth.
