Selling a 3 day hopper pass

Can this be done? My nephew was in Disney for a sporting event and received a 3 day hopper pass (MagicBand) but they were not able to use it. Can my brother sell it? if so where is best place?

Tickets associated with group travel (typical of a ticket received for a sporting event) often have different expiration rules. If the ticket is unused, it can be transferred, but the value is questionable. You need to make sure you know what you have before you try to sell it.

If the ticket is linked to his MDE profile, it's not as simple as handing over ticket card or magic band. You'd actually need to transfer the ticket to someone, not the band.

That said, ebay is probably your best bet.

If it's attached to his Magic Band, then the answer is no. The ticket can be re-assigned to someone in their MDE account (maybe), but it cannot be sold or given to someone else once it has been added to MDE and a MB. If this is a ticket that was specific for a sports or school-related trip, then it might have further restrictions on it than regular MYW tickets, such as an expiration date.
