Sellers accepted my offer

Wow. I put an offer in on a contract and the sellers accepted. The prob is they accepted for $81 per point on SSR contract with full 2007/2008 points and they will pay closing. Gosh. What are the chances this will pass ROFR? I have read the links about what has passed ROFR and what hasn't. It seems to make no sense.

I know no one can give me an answer. What would you do? The broker says that even though the seller accepted, she would increase the amount to $82 pp.

Argh!

Of course all of this hand-wrenching and we are talking about $150....

Well, with the sellers paying closing costs that does effectively lower the price per point. I think it may not pass ROFR, just my opinion, though. Good luck!

Our broker is thinking ours will get through and we are in the same boat... we have two contracts pending! one for 81$ (350 points + 77= '07) and the other at $82 (150 points + 150 ='07)... we are paying closing on both though.

I would bump it to $84 just to be safe. You are still getting a hefty discount over the direct from DVC price. with them paying all closing costs this is still an excellent deal for you.
