Seller still doesn't have signed contracts in so we canceled :(

For those of you keeping up with our saga, the end result is we have canceled. :(

We started out on this adventure trying to purchase 70 OKW, Feb use year, points through Fidelity. We explained we really needed to close by X date so that we could incorporate the banked points into our May 2012 trip as we would not be visiting WDW again until after 1/2013 & we were assured that would not be a problem. Well it was!

First off they never told us we passed ROFR, we had to ask........

Then we found out the seller borrowed points from 2012 to make a reservation, which they then had to reverse. They have 2 contracts & borrowed from the wrong contract.

Then we found out that the seller lived in Uruguay & the consulate was only open on Tuesdays. OK, but the seller NEVER made it there on time. We are already passed our 60 days & the seller STILL has not made it there....... So frustrated & disappointed.

We said since they are passed the 60 days & the contracts are still not signed we would like them to pay the closing costs. They said no so we have canceled the transaction.

It has been a long search to find a smaller Feb use year contract at OKW to go along with our other Feb use year contract there. Oh well..........

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully the mantra "good things come to those who wait" will sprinkle extra PD to help you find the right contract that matches your needs. :wizard:

sorry to hear that. keep trying there are lots of contracts. Who were you working with?

We were really disgusted by how it all transpired, but what can you do? I hope that the next person who tries to purchase this has better luck then we did.

We will keep looking for the right contract, hopefully something will pop up for us soon.
