I hear lots of people say great things about the place. It's on the (tiny) list of places I haven't eaten yet. I've never seen a reason to try it. What's the historic/nostalgic deal with it? Do you recommend it??? Why???

cheapest meal in the world (me as a college kid found this out.....under 5 bucks for a hot dog and some water) and SOOOOO good hot dogs!! It doesn't try too hard to be a sit down with your family, its quick, yummy, perfect place for watching wishes when you're done, all around awesome......

I like the hot dogs...they just taste better at Disney... the corn dog nuggets are a "heart attack" in a basket but yummy... I like em' I guess it is part nostalgia.

Great hot dogs that you cannot get anywhere else in WDW & a topping bar (mustard, ketchup, onion, relish, kraut, & cheese sauce) too! It is inexpensive for a meal of a hot dog, fries, drink & cracker jacks is about $10.

We were just talking about Casey's the other day. My kids can't wait to have Hotdogs at Casey's - they say they are the best hot dogs anywhere. I like them - I don't see the difference but they do - they are 8, 11 & 15. Casey's is always very busy.

Great fries and fast lines even when very busy. Try to go at "off" times because it can be difficult to get an outside table. Also, the lines to the way right tend to be less busy because most people enter from Main Street and head to the cashiers straight in front of them rather than walking over to the right side. Enjoy!

We tried it on our last trip and really didn't like it. It was just a pretty plain hotdog to us. We had high hopes!!!

Casey's location and food (we like the hot dogs and toppings) make it a good place to go to regroup. For a few minutes you can either sit on a few bleachers inside (where it's cool) and watch old disney cartoons or sit outside and listen to the old-time piano player. Worth a stop.

The dogs do not compare to a nyc sabrett dirty water dog, but they're tasty and nostalgic. It's usually a great place to grab a bite right before wishes.

So...I see this thread earlier today, and read the title to my dh. His response??? CDNs honey, CDNs!!! Now, you have to understand that the man is not a big WDW fan. So, imagine my surprise when he asked if he could tag along, for just a few days, during my 7night 'girls' trip this Aug. Said he really wanted some CDNs in the worst way! So, he gets to go for 3 nights and have his CDNs.
Looks like he's not the only one out there with a CDN addiction.
The regular hot dogs aren't bad either....I really enjoy having one while watching life go by on Main St.

I'm one of the ones that isn't a HUGE fan of Casey's and can take it or leave it. The only thing worth getting is the fries with vinegar (mmm!) and the corn dog nuggets. The hot dogs are kind of bleh now that they have a whole wheat bun.

Speaking of whole wheat buns....last May I was so distressed to read on DIS about the horrible whole wheat buns. I love Casey's and it is usually one of our first stops for food on my trip. I get a dog and fries and that lovely cheese sauce from the toppings bar.

Anyway the I worried for nothing - the whole wheat buns are not that bad - is it white bread - no but they aren't terrible.
