Sell me on a trip to Orlando for Universal :)

I'm just going to lay down and accept that the TM's at Universal are teenage slackers and the CM's at WDW are 'Magical Beings Coated in Pixie Dust and Prayers for Dead Kittens'.
LOL...ROFLMAF

I've never had or witnessed a bad experience with CM or a TM
I do have to say that we have several TM's at Kong go out of their way to make DD happy. She rode kong when she was 3 1/2 and likedit. A yr later sherode it and freaked out. The TM at the exit saw how upset she was and tolld DD she could go see that it was all pretend. We were led up to the control booth window. The TM was telling DD all about the ride when someone opened the door and told DD to come and have a better look. They spent a good 10 min showing her the monitors and explaining how Kong was a robot that they controlled.

another thread of "show me the way to have magic at universal" :lmao:

i do disney and universal. i would not dream of going to orlando and not doing both theme parks.

i start out at disney and end up at universal. that fotl and amazing hotels at universal spoils me to no end.

there pros and cons at both parks.
transportation system at disney is one thing i dread. it can take an hour to get from one park to another or to a resort for hotel dining.

at universal, getting anywhere is a snap.
even visiting different on site hotel resturants and pools takes less than 20 minutes tops.

i stay at universal for 4 days and still have time to go at a slow pace due to the fotl system. i could spend more time there just for city walk and the shopping.

at universal, many of the rides and attractions are repeats 2 or 3 times in a row for me. one time on some of them is not enough.!

if you are a disney fan and venture out to try universal, stay on site. the experience you will have will sell you on the place.

some of you mention sea world. one place i have not been to or plan to go to. it would take too much park time out of my schedule when at universal. giving up park time is something i would never do.

for some reason, many disney posters feel they can not find enough things to do at universal for 5-7 days. after the many trips i have made to both parks over the last 13 years, i say, i can't find enough time to do all the things universal has to offer me. wish i could stay there for more time than i do. the longest universal stay i have done is 6 days.
