Self Termination

It's possible -- but you'll probably want to build a strong case to show that you've "changed" work-wise so that when you re-apply they'll know you'll be there to stay. I'm pretty sure they want to see that people who self-termed have worked steadily for one company for 6 months or more, so that would be something good to work on while you wait a few years.

With that being said, I would look for somewhere that isn't "seasonal" and is at least part time. Some restricted rehires have worked, but on and off--which may not count.

Yeah that's what I'm hoping for. I've held a full time job since I've been 15 so it was out of character for me. This new job I have is full time + some overtime so hopefully I can build a good case. :/

I self-termed when I did my first college program in spring of 2009 and I am going back, I check in june 7th! :) The process was long and frustrating, but if you prove to them that you have what it takes and that you've changed, then your chances are good. Good Luck!

disneymagic - what exactly do you mean by 'prove you've got what it takes'? Did you work between CPs like everyone suggests? I've been a full-time student since I had to self-term in 2008, but I want to go back in the Spring and I'm wondering what my chances are of getting rehired.
