Anyone have any recommendations for self tanning lotions?

The last time I used them I had issues with streaking...but that was years ago. I'm very pale and refuse to lay out in the sun or use a tanning bed. Had a scare last year with melanoma.

I'm very pale. I use the ones combined with moisturizer in for fair skin. Jergens natural glow is good. Or I use the comparable store brand, like CVS and that's been fine.

I'm very pale and have sensitive skin as well. Dove has a tanning/moisture lotion that really works well for me. Just be careful around elbows and knees. They get dark quicker than the rest of my arms and legs.

One way to avoid streaking is to exfoliate in the shower and then moisturize after before putting the self-tanning product on. I use to work for a cosemetic line and recommended it to all my customers, I also use this strategy myself. I also recomend using a mouse (my favorite) or a tinted lotion to see where you are applying it.

I've used a couple of different ones in the past (the Jergens one was the last I used). While I liked how they looked, I did not like the smell! I quit using them because of it. They didn't necessarily smell bad, they were just strong. Have they improved that?

Thanks everyone...I'm heading to Target now...

I don't know why that thread didn't come when I searched...:confused3... I must have typed something wrong. Thanks again!!

Jergens Natural Glow works great for me!

Bought both the lighter and darker tint....lighter for my shoulders, neck and chest, darker for my legs

Have been using them for two years now and I love it! No streaking, and the smell isn't too bad!

St Tropez

A bit pricier but has No odor, no streaks and works beautifully....:thumbsup2 QVC has/had it....

I'm pasty white and like the Avon skin so soft spray tanner. Use an exfoliator first and the spray helps keep streaks to a minimum.

I bought this Lavera brand, made in Germany and is all natural http://www.lavera.com/products/Perf...r&utm_content=feature&utm_campaign=perfecttan
I got it at Target, I didn't buy the kit, just the body lotion and it was $19, on sale from I think $24...I love that it doesn't have a horrible smell, that it is natural but I am thinking it's leaving my legs looking a little too orange...I'll have to wait and see how the color develops by the morning though.

My vote is for Bare Esentials tanning. I love the color and no have no problem with streaking. I think QVC has it on sale this weekend too.

I've been using the Target self tanning lotion and it;s great - not too much color, but enough to not look pasty. since the color is gradual, I haven't had streaking...

Do they even make an unscented self-tanner/gradual color lotion? I have sensitive skin and allergies, and many of those lotions make me sneeze! I've already had a pre-cancerous mole removed, so I stay out of the sun and wear loads of sunblock when I'm out and about. Therefore, I am day-glo white.
