Self parking at BCV

So it looks pretty definite that we'll be driving to WDW for the first time this June. How is self parking at BCV? It is better to valet? I know it's not free anymore...what's the current rate?

Self parking at BCV is very close to the building.

Self Parking at BCV is very easy, in fact, if you are staying at the Villas you are closer to self park. Easy!

Parking is great at BCV. As you drive up, just before you would cross the waterway to go to the BC entrance and valet parking, you turn left. Drive past the valet parking spaces and find a great space right near the end of the sidewalk that goes past the pool. If you take the second entrance to the left, you'll find the other elevator bank to go up to your floor if you aren't on the first floor.

I'm concerned about hearing "self-parking isn't free anymore." I thought self-parking was free. Whar's the current situation?

I believe she means valet is not free anymore
