Does anyone have any experience with a cat having seizures? Our male cat has always been super-aggressive, even as an 8-week-old kitten. We chalked it up to the good possibility that he was feral. He is 8 1/2 years old now, and we finally took him to see a pretty well-known animal behaviorist a few months ago. The Dr. thought that our cat was an "extreme case," and decided to try him on kitty Prozac. He also said that our cat might be having seizures that caused the anti-social/aggressive behavior, but we were reluctant to try anti-seizure meds without knowing for sure. Well, the Prozac lasted all of 2 weeks...our cat was acting weird on it, and he lost his appetite as well. It didn't make him any less aggressive.
Fast forward 3 months to today...I was patting him, and he suddenly started quivering/shaking, but with his eyes open and while still purring. It lasted about 2-3 seconds, then stopped. I wasn't sure what happened, but then it happened again! It looked like he was having some sort of brief seizure. My question is whether the 2 weeks of low-dose Prozac 3 months ago could have caused him to have seizures now. He's never had seizures before that I've seen, but then again he is normally a pretty solitary cat and likes us to leave him alone most of the time. I'd be thrilled if I just got my answer to his behavior issues!

He also looks to be aging before my eyes...his black fur is getting a little salt-and-pepper, etc. I guess that I'm worried about what might be going on. My old next-door neighbor just lost her male cat to a heart attack 3 weeks ago, so that isn't helping my worries
