SEINFELD was awesome!!!

I just have to report that I saw Seinfeld's stand-up routine last night at the Fox in St. Louis and it was GREAT!! I was laughing so hard that I had tears running down my cheeks for most of the performance.

It's amazing that he can make me laugh so hard and barely a curse word in the whole show! I've been a Seinfeld junkie for years but have never seen him in person until last night so just had to share.

Laughter is a great thing!!

One time I heard a comedian (it may have actually been Seinfeld himself) say that the mark of a good comedian is one that does not need to rely on heavy cursing to obtain a laugh; they can do it purely by the content itself. I'm paraphrasing there, but it was something along those lines.

I agree, I love Seinfeld's humor; it must have been so cool to see him live!!

I have seen him 3 times. The first time was in 1989 at a very small club before he was well known. He was awesome.

I didn't like his stand up on his show (sometimes they opened the show with him doing stand up). Wonder if it is different in real life...

I saw Carrot Top live and it was a hoot. Cried in laughter the whole time.
Howie Mandel was awesome too... as was Steven Wright and Anthony Clark! all were great!

I've seen Seinfeld twice live on stage (2006 and 2004) and he was GREAT!

Before the first time I was wondering how funny he could possibly be on stage, and not in his show character, but he did not disappoint. The second time, I thought he was still very, very funny, but some of his stuff on fatherhood seemed a bit... I don't know.. negative. lol

I'm glad he still puts on a great show, and I hope to see him again some time.

We have seen Seinfeld live twice too, also in 2004 and 2006. The first time we were in the nose-bleed section, and could barely see him. The last time we had second row seats AND the venue sold beer...........totally different experience!!
I brought a Tweety Bird Pez to the second show that Jerry saw and commented on!

It is a small world!! He did a bit on the Cardinals winning the world series that was very funny. I always like it when the humor has a little "hometown" edge to it.

I saw him in Vegas in 2005 at Cesars. He was great!! We laughed the WHOLE time! His opening act was funny too!

LOL! Imagine how we felt; we saw him at the Wang theater in Boston. He had a few things to say about that... but as always, he wasn't crude or used any profanity. lol
