Segway Tour at Fort

Hi everyone! Just working on plans for this fall- only 175 days to go!! Does anyone have any info they can pass along regarding the Segway Tours at the fort- do they still offer them? How much are they? What ages are allowed? And is any of you have done it- is it worth it just for a fun experience? We've seen them before and thought it looked like fun, and honestly we're open to trying anything. Doesn't have to knock our socks off- just be a fun experience to remember! Thanks!

It was about $100.00 when we did it. Lots of fun we really enjoyed it.

my dad and I did this a few years ago (2011). Denise is right is around $100 maybe more now. it was cool. here is the DIS link for it:

It's down near the bottom shown as the Wilderness Backcountry Trail Adventure. We did an afternoon ride in April.

We've done it twice and would do it again! Then tour guides are great! Beware of your other group members...one time we had a mother and daughter pair that wrecked several times. We had to learn to stay out of their way!

I have done this tour a couple of times. Well worth it! You get an awesome view of the Contemporary Resort and the lake. The tour takes you over to the Wilderness Lodge and back again. The Segway "öff-roading" experience is such fun! I would book it in advance so that you have the option of the time you want. (I liked the early morning one since it was cooler...) Also, ask about the cancellation policy, so you have time to cancel without penalty if you change your mind.

Fifteen % discounts are available if you are a DVC member or are an APH. (There may even possibly be a discount for using the Disney Visa. You should definitely ask!)
