Seeking Pixie Dust Delivery to On-Site Guest...questions

Friends of mine are staying at All Star Movies this week until Friday. Ideally, I would love to send a physical gift card to the wife/mom for a belated b-day present. I looked at the offerings at Disney Floral and Gifts and could also be persuaded to send a basket with a bottle of bubbly and some sweet treats.

Few questions: I would really like this to be a surprise. I don't know their room number or if the room is in her or the husband's name (and first and last names are on the common side). If I call the resort, will they give me the room number? Do I need it?

Has anyone ever used Drops of Magic or any of the other resort delivery sites out there? Looks like lead time is a few days, but if I could get her a gift card, I would REALLY want her to be able to use it by tomorrow or Tuesday.

Since you can order prior to someone checking in, I don't think you'd need a room number BUT you will need to know what the last name they are registered under. The front desk won't be able to give the room number for security reasons. Both travelers should be registered on the reservation.

You don't need a room number nor would anyone at WDW ever give it to you. That would be a massive privacy and security breach. Your best bet at this point is to order through Disney Floral and Gifts who are the only vendor who can deliver directly to a resort room. All you need is the name of the resort and the name of the guest. Disney Floral and the resort will do the rest in terms of delivering the gift to the room. If you go through an outside vendor, chances are it will be delivered to bell services and your friend may not be notified that there is something there for them. Disney Floral and Gifts, though expensive, is incredibly reliable and I find the quality of their products and presentation to be outstanding.

My friend sent a gift through floral and gifts. All she needed was the resort name and my name (I believe).
