Recently, we returned from the cruise on the Wonder and had a dinner and two AMAZING martini drinks at Palo. Unfortunately, we forgot to ask for the recipes....

Does anyone have the recipe for the Palo martinis:

Lemoncella martini

Chocolate martini (waitress mentioned baileys, kahula, and some honey was in the bottom of the glass)

Thanks!!!

I would imagine the chocolate martini has creme de cacoa in it as well?

I can't give the recipes for those two but have mastered the Nuts and Berries Martini recipe from Palo:

1 part Frangelico
1 part Amaretto Di Saranno
1 part vanilla vodka
1 part Chambord

YUM!

I had the Tobleron-tini at Palo and it was DELICIOUS!! It had honey in it, too. Later in the cruise they tried to re-create it in Lumiere's, but it didn't taste the same. I hope you can get the recipes you want :)

I had the Evil Twin martini at Palo in June and it was sooooo good. It was chocolate and rasberry. You just email the cruiseline to get the recipe?? What is the email??

if you go on the Disney cruiseline website and go to contact us. Not sure if it will work but they are meant to be able to get them for you

I had the strawberry martini at Palo. It was yummy, and didn't taste like it had much alcohol in it, but I crashed for about an hour nap after we hit Palo, so it must've had some sort of kick to it. Or possibly it was the 3 Carib beers for $1.50 ea. that I had in St. Maarten, then the drink of the day, THEN the martini!! :tilt: :drinking: :crazy2:

Another question, does that lemon drink they give you between courses or after the meal, I can't remember, have alcohol in it? It came in a shooter type glass.

I want the recipe to that after dinner lemon shooter! YUM! We had a martini at polo as well but I cant remember what it was. It was something with expresso.

Is it Lemonchella or something like that?
Yea, something like that, but was there alcohol in it? There had to have been because I was feeling pretty loopy!! :crazy2:

Yeah if its what we had its like a pure shot of some italian liquer made from lemons! Its fab but really strong

I just checked the Palo menu, and it is listed as an after dinner drink. Limoncella. I'm assuming there was alcohol in it, but it sort of just tasted like a slushy lemonade. No wonder I nearly passed out!!

The frozen after dinner cocktail is a Schiopinnio. Per DCL Guest Communications it is made as follows:

1.5 oz Absolute Vodka
2.0 oz Sparkling Wine (Prosecco)
4 scoops Lemon Sherbert (melonball size scoops.

The Limoncellotini Cocktail is a mix of Limoncello (Italian Liquor) and vodka though they did not give me amounts of each.

The other recipe I got from them was the Cape Cod Margarita:

1.5 oz Tequila
0.5 oz Grand Mariner
1.5 oz sour mix
2.0 oz Cranberry Juice.

Enjoy.

Yeah that's what I was thinking of Limoncello! Knew it was some Italian Liquor

I loved that Martini!!! It was really good and very refreshing after a long hot day on the islands. :sunny:

Simple syrup is sugar dissolved in water, which can be purchased already prepared.

I bought a bottle of Pallini Limoncello for my duty free - not for a good price as it turns out FYI - and the tag on it gave these recipes:

Pallini Martini
equal parts Limoncello and Vodka, squeeze of lemon, shake over ice, serve straight up

Pallini Fresco
equal parts Limoncello, cranberry juice, and club sode, garnish with lemon
