Sorry I have not been around much. Things are soooo hectic here!!
I still have so much to do. I WILL start my PTR as soon as the holidays are over. I have so much to tell.

Hey Jill!! With the holidays being over, hopefully you can get started on your TR so we can see all of your many hours of planning going to work.
First let me say HAPPY HOLIDAYS & HAPPY NEW YEAR to all! I hope you all had a wonderfully festive time.
As for me the last two months were a whirl wind of activity. Our trip was awesome and I can't wait to tell you all about it. Thanksgiving was very nice, we spent it at the Hoop Dee Doo Revue, and the 9 days following that were even better. We came home with only two weeks till Christmas and lots to do! Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the week that followed was spent with family. Last week we spent getting ourselves back into our normal routine.
So now I am back
But my computer is not!!!!!!
Yep you heard me, computer problems AGAIN!!! But this time it is perminent
It died for good this time on Chrismas Eve!
I've been using Ron's work laptop (which is very limited) ever since.
Now I have a "borrowed" computer which only gives me access to the internet but nothing else. No printer, scanner, programs, downloading or uploading photos. It is quite frustrating! I am working towards getting a new one, which means I won't have access to anything other than the internet untill late Feb at the earliest.
Because that is how long it will take to get the money for it. The timing could not be worse! My sister finally convinced me to have Kiera's (my niece) 1st birthday Party here at my house since her apartment is so tiny and she has 30+ people to invite. They will barely fit in my apartment but money is very tight for her so having it outside the home is not an option. I have all these GREAT ideas on what I want to do. She wanted me to design the invites and the decorations like I always do for Leon but I can't. I also can't create the photo slideshow set to music of the first year of her life to play at the party and to give to them as a gift. Nor can I create the photo collage poster for everyone to sign.
BAH HUMBUG!!!!
I also want to be able to start my TR asap, but I really didn't want to do it without my pictures, they tell so much of the story! I may start without the pics but I haven't decided for sure yet.
I have started blogging with the intention of it being a photo blog ....
although the phot part has to be on hold for now. I plan to put an extended version of my TR there once I can upload pictures. In the meantime I plan on just blogging about ordinary things. Hopefully it wont be too boring. It's at http://leonsmom.wordpress.com, if you do stop by my blog please leave a comment so I know you were there. I have to admit it's a little lonely over there, it's also still a work in progress.

What a week!!!!
On Saturday I got my new computer!!!!!!
Now I can work with pictures and actually do the stuff I want and need to do with out limitations.
On Sunday, We threw a B'day party for my niece at our house. It was a great success.
On Monday, Leon and I had a very cuddley day on the couch (nursing my cold) watching TV. At one point Leon turns to me and says "I like this mom, we should hang out more often" At lunch he asks if I could sit and talk with him a while. I of course say "yes" and ask what he would like to talk about. He says, "Disney". I said, "What about Disney?". He said, "Lets talk about the next time we are going", "okay" I say, "when do you think we should go" He says, "TODAY!", I laugh and let him know that it is of course impossible. So he says "then let's go this weekend for your birthday". I tell him that we were considering it but decided against it because it was too expensive. I of course then got on my computer to price it just one more time. That night Leon tells Ron that they "should take mommy to Disney for her birthday, because it's not expensive, it's free" - he saw the commercial.
So Tuesday, (yesterday) Ron gave me the go ahead to book the trip.
Yipppeeeee! My DH and DS6 are taking me to Disney for my 40th Birthday!!!!!!
I spent the whole day on the phone... We are staying at All Star Movies from Feb 20 - Feb 21, I made reservations for Lunch at Scifi Dine in for the 21st (my actual b'day) and for character breakfast at Ohana on the 22nd. The agent on the phone was so great!!! She went out of her way to get me what I wanted. I may have to cancel one of them unless I can get an advance on my paycheck.
And today I am back on the DIS to shout it from the rooftops:
" I am going to Disney for my 40th Birthday"
Can you tell I am excited! I really should be packing right now. Now when I get back i'll have two TR's to write.
My only Boo Hoo about this trip is that I won't be able to get a photopass cd. It's too expensive to do it by myself.
Okay off to pack - I just had to share the news

As far as turning 40, my dear friend said she didn't turn 40, she turned 30 10. I didn't really get it for a while. I thought it was like 30 + 10, but now I FINALLY got it as like when you are counting and you get to 39, you just keep going on to 30 10!

Yeah, 40 isn't bugging me so much ..I think ..it's debatable considering I've been cleaning house (nesting) like I've never done before, I came THIS CLOSE to dyeing my hair Jet Black and putting a pink stripe in it. And now I am going to Disney for my Birthday so I could be a kid again..... whoo hooo!
Would it be cheesy to get myself one of those new Pirate Treasure Chest Mini Surprise Cakes????
I am planning a girls night pajama party birthday celebration when I get back...
