That Halloween golf cart parade was something else. Is the only way to see it is to be a registered guest of FW on Halloween?

See this thread and read post #98. In short, the Fort campsites were overbooked and this lady agreed to move to a TreeHouse Villa near Saratoga but was assured she could get Fort access for Halloween days/events. On Saturday (golf cart day) no transportation. So she bused to a park and from there took a Fort bus in and went in to complain at the Fort. Manager said someone should have been checking MB's at the parks to only allow Fort guests to go to the Fort.

see post #98

Supposedly they do this on Trick-or-treat day also. But whether they actually check MB's or not, :confused3 . In the past they said they were going to do the same thing to keep the Fort from being covered up by locals or guests who couldn't buy a sold out Mickey's Not So Scary ticket (when those were being held).

You sure can't just DRIVE in as a non-Fort guest to do the cart parade (on 10/30) or the Trick-or-Treat (on 10/31). The only way to ensure access would be to make a Trails End dinner ADR or book Hoop Dee Doo Review for the day desired and leave time to see whichever event. The parade usually starts 4 or 5pm and ToT starts usually at 6pm or so IIRC. So if they scan MB's, they should let you in because $$$$$.

I did the golf cart parade in 2017 and what's a hoot is when we're all lined up close together in the staging area before the event starts and we check out each other's decorations, talk/ask questions, and get to know some of the regulars. It's a relaxed, leisurely, fun vibe before we start rolling.

Trails End reservation, that would work.

Totally get the Trails End reservation. :-)

We actually have a reservation for Thanksgiving, although I only could only get 11:30, which I think is still breakfast.
