Seeing the belly dancers at Marrakesh?

I have to make my ADRs soon and I'm thinking of Marrakesh but only because I think my 3 grandsons (and probably my son in law) would get a kick out of seeing the belly dancers.
Quite honestly, the menu really doesn't thrill me.
So, my question is, if I make an ADR for sometime in the afternoon would we get to see the belly dancers? Or are they only there for dinner? Or for select times?
Oh, and are they even worth seeing? especially if the menu is really not to my liking.

Thank you,

Karen

From Steve Soares site - for this week but the hours are standard.

Daily at 12:50, 1:50, 2:50, 5:00, 6:00, 7:00 & 8:10pm
Belly Dancer begins 10 minutes after show begins.
Length of show: 25 minutes

It is a short, but entertaining show. It is a Belly Dancer - singular, not plural. I don't think any entertainment is worth making at an ADR at a restaurant that I don't like the menu.

I agree with PP, if you don't like the menu and don't think the rest of the family wouldn't I wouldn't book it just for the entertainment. There are too many other places to eat around WS to waste a meal on somewhere you aren't going to enjoy.

We experienced this restaurant 2 years ago. I have to say, one and done. The night we were there, the restaurant was "FREEZING". This is probably not typical, but no matter who we told, the temperature stayed arctic. The belly dancer was fine...but ....whatever. The food, which I was really looking forward to, was not good. I wanted it to be good because I really enjoy good kebabs, etc. But.... we won't be back.

Thank you all. 3 people pretty much saying the same thing does it for me. I think we'll go to Villa Napoli. Now that's a place where we really do love the food.

My family never wants to eat in Marrakesh and I cant find anything I would enjoy. Villa Napoli gets my vote too! :)

1) Actually, it more common than people think.
2) Scientifically (yes, scientifically) people eat more when the eatery is cold and order less when the eatery is warm/hot.
3) Thus, most eateries are kept on the cool side.

. . . dessert:. Moroccan Symphony
.
NOTE: Restaurant Marrakesh serves flavorful specialties, using a long list of herbs and
spices including saffron. My fav appy is bastilla (fried pastry) has layers of pastry with
chicken seasoned with Almonds, sugar and cinnamon. At lunch and dinner, a talented
belly dancer entertains with live music (sensual, but not at all risqué). If you like new
things it is a good change of pace. And, usually easy to get ressies, as many people
overlook this place.

After the explosion of interest in couscous, tabbouleh, and other staples in the last 15 years, it surprises me that Marrakesh is still considered "exotic." I've had better Moroccan food elsewhere, but after years of failing to persuade my family I succeeded last November – and they had a wonderful time.

I say give it a shot. You can get Italian food anywhere.

Agreed. This all so subjective Op.

We went recently for the first time and were pleasantly surprised - I liked it and hubby really liked it. We went back another time. Not a must do for each trip but every other trip or so. If you want to try something new, I would give it a shot.

hmmmm, thank you...all very good points.

Also, Marrakesh is beautiful: one of the most intricately designed spaces in WDW, with real devotion to capturing the essence of Morrocco. I consider it one of the last vestiges of the Vacation Kingdom era.
