I just sat down to pay some bills, and I didn't pass out when I opened the credit card bill:rotfl2: . The ban wagon is certainly working for me:thumbsup2 .

I feel the same way, I did buy a few things in WDW but it was already paid for on my gift card.

good for you!!!! I am going to tally my spending for January tonight and see how it compares to last year. It's hard to compare though because I bought 2 cricuts and all but 1 cart last year so my shopping costs are skewed.

That's awesome! I should do a comparison as well. Not sure I will, don't want to pass out. ;)

I know I've saved a lot of money but I don't have last year's receipts. So far this year, I've spent about $14 on adhesives and card stock, all bought either on sale or with a coupon. I was probably averaging about $50-$60 per month on "stuff", from paper to paper punches, though this time last year, I was fairly new to scrapbooking so I was building up my supplies ;)

I've been very good! I would say my naughties - a couple of packs of brads and some ribbon - add up to less than £15. Normally I can drop that 2 or 3 times a month with just casual browsing through online stores when I'm bored or fed-up . I've finally got my heat-it tool (just used it on DH's valentine :lovestruc ) but by looking around I found one for £10 whereas i'd only seen them for £20 before (and its pink and matches my CAD so even better :rotfl: )

Now DH loves you all too:rotfl2:

I believe my total spent this year is $0. I've tried to avoid the stores totally, so that has helped. And I took January "off" from scrapping, so I haven't even really been thinking about it. But I'm sure it will get harder as the year goes along. Especially since I have been tempted lately to look more seriously at getting an Expression. But we have a trip coming up and any and all "spare" money is going towards that, so I'm sure the Expression will be on the back burner for several months. Continued good luck to you all!..........................P

So far this year I've spent 23.00 and that was last night buying paper for SIOH Baby Pages but I do have to go splurge today..DH and I have our anniversary this month as well as Valentines. Since he does not do gifts for anything I think this year I'm going to buy myself something.

Way to go Kim and others!!! Since I have credit from my CM consultant, there is no need to spend my own money yet:woohoo: but I can still get some great things.
We leave for WDW soon, now there might be some damage!!!:rotfl:

I've been really good. The only new paper I've bought was swap/scrap specific. No buying just because I had coupon or a sale. No hardware bought. Just one fiber and it is really meant for DS Valentine's project, I just get to keep the left over. And then I bought those Cuttlebug Disney Dies. I would have gotten them anyway, but I did get them at about 1/2 of retail. Even with shipping.
And I even made scrapbook pages for myself this year. How cool is that?
